Since 2016 a fantastic group of women paddlers have raced in the Yukon River Quest and raised funds for the Yukoners Cancer Care Fund. Over $80,000 has been donated to the fund, and this year as the team prepares for another race to Dawson City on July 5, 2023 – they are raising funds for this vital cause and hoping to hit the $100,000 mark! The Yukoners Cancer Care fund provides financial assistance to patients experiencing financial difficulty while facing a cancer diagnosis. Since 2014 the fund has provided funding to over 300 individuals and their families.
